The MOOC Action Learning for Inclusion. Architecture and planning education with marginalised communities is online on PoliMi Open Knowledge.

It has been developed within the framework of the Designing inclusion project, reflecting on how Action Learning approach can be applied to teaching initiatives, especially focusing on inclusion of vulnerable communities. The course, designed in the framework of “Designing Inclusion project” (DESINC), co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, has been created involving experts and teachers from different countries, with different backgrounds, working in universities and inside civil society organizations. Most of them have been involved in promoting Action Learning experiences, developed on the basis of a live engagement within contexts of urban marginality.

The course explains how to develop planning, urban and architectural design teaching or training initiatives with an action-oriented approach, by describing the meaning of Action Learning. It aims to provide participants with analytical frameworks and practical methods and tools to autonomously develop an Action Learning project in the fields of planning, urban and architectural design.
