We live in a fragile, uncertain and accelerated time, in which the’artificial intelligence and generative models are profoundly transforming our relationship with knowledge, study and cognitive work. In this scenario, The Power to Learn offers a compass for orientation: not a technical handbook on AI, but an accessible and rigorous reflection on how human learning can regain meaning and centrality in the age of artificial intelligence.
In the first part, the volume analyses the historical and theoretical roots of learning, showing how, in a world where AI makes content and solutions available, what is really at stake is not the possession of information, but the ability to use it to understand, interpret and make sense of it.
The second part translates these premises into a AI-mentored learning operational model for the AI era, articulated in cognitive events that guide learning at every stage. Through examples, infographics and protocols for conscious interaction with AI, the book offers a solid methodological framework for designing and delivering effective learning experiences, avoiding cognitive shortcuts and enhancing the active role of the learner.
