What we do
A national network for advanced digital training
The Edvance project, the first Digital Education Hub for higher education dedicated to Advanced Digital Culture in Italy, is an initiative created under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP), Mission 4 “Education and research”.
Driven by METID – Politecnico di Milano, Edvance sees the participation of 17 of the best universities and AFAM institutions in Italy which have begun collaborating with the ambitious goal of creating a single digital ecosystem integrating the educational offering of all the partner institutions involved.
And so was born the Edvance platform.

The Edvance platform's offer, with over 200 free online courses, enhanced by micro-credentials and open badges. Its goal is to support students, teachers and workers in the development of advanced digital skills, with a particular focus on the sectors of’Artificial intelligence, data management, digital sustainability and transdisciplinarity.
The project focuses on the production of High-quality MOOCs and blended learning, integrating online and face-to-face education to redefine the standards of digital education.
Through the use of artificial intelligence and the integration with humanities and creative disciplines, Edvance enriches the interactivity and effectiveness of teaching, reducing drop-out rates and offering new resources for academic and career paths.
