Open Educational Resources

METID recognises in the Open Educational Resources (OER) a key element in didactic innovation and the transformation of education. This is why it actively promotes its adoption and dissemination within the Politecnico di Milano and in a broader context national and international, by supporting open educational practices that value knowledge sharing, collaboration and sustainability of educational processes.

OERs, or Open Educational Resources, are teaching materials of any kind - texts, videos, lessons, exercises, modules, complete courses - freely rendered accessible and reusable thanks to open licences that allow it to be used, modified and shared.

OERs are a key instrument to promote aopen, inclusive and sustainable education, as they foster the circulation of knowledge, collaboration between teachers and students and the innovation of training processes, with a view to sharing and continuous improvement.
