FemPower intends to address this gap by promoting a systemic approach that integrates the gender dimension in energy research, education and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"kb-row-layout-wrap kb-row-layout-id6132_78e0a3-39 alignfull kt-row-has-bg wp-block-kadence-rowlayout\"><div class=\"kt-row-column-wrap kt-has-1-columns kt-row-layout-equal wp-block-kadence-advancedheading\" data-kb-block=\"kb-adv-heading6132_aff7ed-74\">Objectives of the FemPower project<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n<p>FemPower aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>increase female representation<\/strong> in the field of energy transition;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>supporting and empowering women<\/strong> already active in academia or the labour market;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>gender mainstreaming<\/strong> in research and development in the field of Clean Energy Transition.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The actions included in the project include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>mapping the gender gap and energy situation in partner countries;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the development of methodologies and tools for gender mainstreaming in the CET sector;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the realisation of transversal open educational resources, including a MOOC, an interactive map and a checklist for higher education institutions;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the definition of inclusive methodologies for co-creation in international and cross-sectoral contexts;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the development of inclusive STEAM educational methodologies in the field of CET;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the design of inclusive STEAM activities for secondary education;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the creation of the network <strong>Fem to FemPower Peer Learning Network<\/strong> to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project results.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div project, METID contributed to the development of the MOOC <strong>\u201cGender Equality in the Clean Energy Transition\u201d.\u201d<\/strong>, available on the <strong>Polimi Open data-scroll-threshold=\"25\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading huge-title white\"><strong>Green Soft Skills for transitioning towards a Sustainable Future<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>How increasing female representation in the clean energy sector can act as a catalyst for innovation and ultimately lead to a more successful energy transition.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The course addresses the issue of women's under-representation in the energy sector, offering an insight into the challenges and opportunities for women in the Clean Energy Transition, through the experiences and contributions of female researchers and practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MOOC has a total workload of 25 hours and is self-paced, allowing participants to progress at their own pace and interact in the forum until the end date of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a
