METID recognises in the Open Educational Resources (OER)<\/strong> a key element in didactic innovation and the transformation of education. This is why it actively promotes its adoption and dissemination within the Politecnico di Milano<\/strong> and in a broader context national and international<\/strong>, by supporting open educational practices that value knowledge sharing, collaboration and sustainability of educational processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OERs, or Open Educational Resources, are teaching materials of any kind - texts, videos, lessons, exercises, modules, complete courses - freely rendered accessible and reusable<\/strong> thanks to open licences that allow it to be used, modified and shared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OERs are a key instrument to promote aopen, inclusive and sustainable education<\/strong>, as they foster the circulation of knowledge, collaboration between teachers and students and the innovation of training processes, with a view to sharing and continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cOpen\u201d<\/strong> represents a different way of understanding education: an approach based on the sharing, improving and reusing teaching materials<\/strong> created by teachers, content experts, librarians, professionals - and sometimes by students themselves - who consciously choose to making knowledge accessible to all<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This deliberate choice allows others to adopt, adapt and rework<\/strong> resources and educational practices according to their specific contexts and needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
