Advanced strategies for designing effective teaching: from theory to practice<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Meetings dedicated to instructional design as a strategic process: from the analysis of expected learning outcomes to the integration of cognitive approaches and digital tools. The aim is to offer teachers a practical and theoretical framework to build more effective, engaging and coherent teaching.<\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>New routes of instructional design: planning according to expected learning outcomes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cognitive psychology at the service of the lesson: design techniques that take into account how we \u201cwork\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Digital innovation and open education: integrating MOOCs and Podcasts in education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>II. learn<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Student training - A project to accompany new freshmen as they enter the Politecnico di Milano<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learning to Learn<\/strong> is an experimental initiative dedicated to <strong>new freshmen at the Politecnico di Milano<\/strong>, The project was created with the aim of supporting students in the delicate transition from high school to university. The project, promoted by the Rector's Delegate for Didactics, Prof. Stefano Ronchi, was designed to offer practical and reflective tools useful for starting the university experience at the right pace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A path to a methodical start<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The project includes an initial series of four thematic webinars, produced by METID, to help freshmen develop awareness of their study methods and identify the most effective strategies for dealing with the main learning situations they will experience at the Politecnico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topics of the Equal Opportunities Service (PoliPsi and Multi Chance) of the Politecnico di Milano on the following topics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strategies for study motivation and anxiety management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specific strategies for possible learning difficulties or other fragilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Meetings are held online, shortly before the start of the academic year, to accompany freshmen gradually and consciously through university life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Asynchronous activities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to live webinars, the course offers optional asynchronous activities designed to explore the topics covered in greater depth through online resources and tools provided by the University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">An initiative in synergy with revision courses<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The Learning to Learn project complements the other orientation and accompaniment initiatives promoted by the Politecnico di Milano, in particular the maths and physics revision courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The two proposals complement each other: the webinars offer methodological and motivational support, while the review courses allow you to consolidate the disciplinary foundations necessary to face the start of university studies with serenity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" learn<\/strong>&nbsp;today is becoming increasingly crucial at university and in any course of study and professional development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this course, you will find&nbsp;<strong>operational strategies<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>concrete hints<\/strong>&nbsp;to become more aware of your way of learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will find out together how best to deal with the various situations you will encounter in your training: the&nbsp;<strong>classroom lessons<\/strong>, I&nbsp;<strong>individual study<\/strong>, but also the&nbsp;<strong>teamwork<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>time management<\/strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong>sources of distraction<\/strong>.<br>For each of these situations, you will have at your disposal&nbsp;<em>reference models,
