Fostering Women to STEM MOOCs (FOSTWOM) Erasmus+ Project (2019-2022) has officially started its activity with the kick-off project held on January, 7th and 8th 2020 at Universitat Politècnica de València.

The partnership involves 5 European Universities: Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain), Conservatoire national des arts et métiers (France), Universidade de Lisboa (Portugal), Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (Sweden) and, of course, Politecnico di Milano-METID and two high schools from Italy (IIS Benedetto Castelli) and Portugal (Colégio do Amor de Deus).

FOSTWOM uses MOOCs to propose STEM subjects free of stereotyping assumptions on gender abilities with the purpose to mitigate the effects of stereotyping about gender-based STEM ability and to raise the number of female students and learners attending courses in the areas of STEM.
