METID offers services on the whole process of design and development of e-learning and e-collaboration projects:

Design and Development
Definition of the characteristics of an e-learning course from all points of view: educational, technological, organizational and communicative. A detailed analysis of context and people involved allows to develop, through techniques of creative thinking and continuous research and testing, the definition of specific project.

Platforms and technological tools development
Implementation or customization of software platforms and asynchronous and synchronous tools (open source, web 2.0, ...) according to users’ needs.

Multimedia editing
Creation of multimedia materials in different formats usable on different devices (web, mobile devices, etc.).

Visual Design
Interaction design, video editing and photography, development of sites and webmasters activities, platforms customization, editorial graphic, layout and graphical interfaces creation.

Communication strategies development
Design and development of communication strategies and materials to support the dissemination of information about the e-learning project (events, website, leaflets, etc.).

Tutoring and community animation
Preparation by a process tutor of all physical and virtual spaces useful to didactic activity, starting of interaction activities with individuals involved in the course and attention to the process during the entire phase of delivery.

Monitoring
Courses analysis during the delivery phase in order to identify critical or force points. Techniques ranging from keeping under control activities, in their normal context, to organizing focus groups and interviews with individuals involved in the process.

Technical and methodological training
Technical and methodological training on tools used in educational activities and addressed to all individuals involved in the process: teachers, tutors, students.

Counselling
Face-to-face and online meeting with participants in online educational courses during delivery phase, in order to carry out guidance, support and development activity of the individuals capacity.

User testing
Verification of real compliance between service features in the design phase and users needs, involving the entire project: concepts, prototypes, simulators, finished product testing. The testing activities are carried out through online techniques or in laboratory, with the participation of experts or real users.
